Created to enable users without specialist skillsets to configure and deploy mission hardware and software platforms in just a few clicks, our Deployable Virtual Infrastructure Configuration Engine (DVICE) allows customer-defined configurations, including switching, routing, vSAN, operating systems, and much more, to be deployed in hours instead of days.
DVICE increases configuration accuracy, improves build consistency, and maintains security integrity through its advanced build automation features. All configurations are error checked and logged in HTML formatted files viewable in a web browser. The simple to use Windows interface captures and manages all the information required to build computing and networking systems in one place, removing the need to swap between different configuration tools.
Mobile data centers in the field help modern military forces stay connected and execute their missions. We partner with VMware to deliver lightweight systems for the U.S. military and its allies that are truly portable, easy to use, and highly secure. In this video, Cubic Director of Software Architecture Tom Lynott talks to VMWare about how together we’re building smaller, lighter, military-grade servers that soldiers can carry in a backpack, while meeting the defense industry’s strict security requirements.
