The M3X is an expeditionary computing and networking platform that delivers powerful ruggedized Intel Xeon processing, Cisco networking, and storage to the tactical edge. Ideal for battalions and small teams, its chassis-less design and patented raised angle connector for power and data reduce weight while increasing system modularity. Low power-to-performance ratios, integrated battery backup, and hardened aluminum case provide unrivaled capabilities for tactical and commercial customers operating in the harshest environments.
The M3X marks a significant technology and capability shift in the way we design modular tactical systems. Building on the popular features of the M3-SE line, the M3X’s ability to be stacked vertically and horizontally without needing a chassis sets new modularity and scalability standards. Our patented raised angle connector, located on the top and bottom of each module, transfers power and data between modules in the stack, rendering additional cable connections between modules unnecessary.
From ideation on a whiteboard to the final product, our Senior Director of Product Management Matthew Ratnesar tells the story of the Cubic M3X expeditionary networking and computing platform, and how close collaboration with our customers helps deliver this innovative new solution.
