MEI has developed secure handheld walkie talkie radios with collaboration of Chinese OEMs. These radios are based on TDMA (DMR protocol), available in 50-watt (Base, Mobile, and Repeater) and 5-watt (Handheld) configurations, these are rugged sets and have in¬built AES¬256 Bit encryption for the security. Moreover, encryption can be customized by the user.
